In that time, he has become recognized for his smooth, sensual styling and dynamic stage presence. He has performed and taught all across the nation. As a director of the well known dance co. PasoFino, he has shared his talent, elegance and love for dancing with salsa enthusiasts in Puerto Rico, Bermuda, California, Chicago, Boston, Miami, Orlando, Charlotte, and Charleston, Washington DC, Texas. In addition, Jose Maldonado has been chosen to perform along side well known Latin artist such as Gilberto Santa Rosa, Oscar de Leon, Grupo Niche, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico and Ruben Blades concerts. The elegant choreography, and stylish presence has gained him national recognition on TV shows like TBS "Movie and a Make Over", Univision "Sabado Gigante" and "Sergio Mendes and Black Eyed Peas" MTV Video. In addition to performing, Jose Maldonado has devoted his career to producing, choreographing, teaching, and coaching dance lovers around the world. Aside from dancing, Jose is an UMASS engineering graduate currently holding his position as founder/CEO of PasoFino, Inc. and director of the PasoFino Dance Company in Atlanta. Jose's success is due in part to his genuine love of people and his ability to make his students feel like he truely cares for their own personal success as dancers. One of his latest and most recognized accomplishments was opening PasoFino Dance Studios and briging together the first Kid's salsa company in Atlanta. PasoFino Kids!...
